Common Questions

What People Ask Before They Attend.

Is this a sales presentation?
No. This is a 100% educational workshop. Nothing is sold, nothing is pitched, and no products are recommended during the event. You will leave with information - not a follow-up sales call. The presenter is there to educate, full stop.
Is it really free?
Yes. Both nights are completely free to attend. There is no cost, no hidden fee, and no catch. Registering does not commit you to anything.
Do I need to attend both nights?
Yes. This is a two-night workshop series with different content each evening. Night 1 on Tuesday May 12 and Night 2 on Thursday May 14 are both at 7:00 PM at Kevin Brady Library. One registration covers both nights and both are included in your confirmation. Plan to attend both to get the full benefit of the series.
Can I bring my spouse or partner?
Absolutely. Spouses and partners are encouraged to attend both nights. When registering, simply indicate that you are bringing a guest and we will reserve two seats. Retirement decisions affect the whole household - it helps to be on the same page.
Will I feel pressured to become a client?
No. Attending this event commits you to absolutely nothing. The workshop is about education, not enrollment. There is no hard close at the end, no pressure in the parking lot, and no obligation to speak with anyone afterward.
Do I need a lot of money saved to attend?
No. There is no minimum account size or net worth required to attend. This workshop is designed for anyone who is within 5 to 15 years of retirement, or already retired, and wants to better understand their options.
I already have a financial advisor. Is this still for me?
Yes. Many attendees already have advisors. This workshop is designed to make you a more informed consumer so you can ask better questions, understand your statements, and feel more confident in the conversations you are already having.
How long does each night run?
Each evening runs 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM - two hours including a Q and A period. Doors open at 6:45 PM so you can get settled before the presentation begins. Both nights together total four hours of retirement education.
What if I register but cannot make it?
No problem. You can cancel anytime by using the link in your confirmation email or by contacting us directly. We appreciate the heads-up so your spot can go to someone on the waitlist.
