Common Questions

What People Ask Before They Attend.

Is this a sales presentation?
No. This is a 100% educational event. The presenter is there to teach, not to recommend products or advise on your accounts. You will leave with information. What you do with it is entirely your decision.
Is there a cost to attend?
No. The roundtable is complimentary. Registering does not commit you to anything.
Do I need to attend both sessions?
Yes. This is a two-morning roundtable with different content each morning. Saturday May 30 and Saturday June 6 at 10:00 AM at Kevin Brady Library. One registration covers both mornings and both are included in your confirmation. Plan to attend both to get the full benefit.
Can I bring my spouse or partner?
Yes. Spouses and partners are encouraged to attend both mornings. When registering, indicate that you are bringing a guest and we will reserve two seats. The decisions covered at this roundtable affect the entire household. It helps to work through them together.
Will I feel pressured to become a client?
No. Attending commits you to nothing. The roundtable is educational from start to finish. There is no close at the end and no obligation to speak with anyone before, during, or after.
Is this roundtable right for my situation?
If you are within 5 to 15 years of retirement, or already retired, and you want to understand the decisions that most affect what retirement actually looks like, this roundtable was built for you. The content covers pension elections, tax strategy, Social Security timing, estate planning, and company stock decisions. If those are the conversations you want to have, come.
I already have a financial advisor. Is this still for me?
Yes. Most attendees already work with an advisor. What brings them to the table is not the absence of a plan. It is the question of whether the plan they have is built for the decisions ahead. Tax structure as the 2026 provisions sunset. Pension elections with narrow decision windows. Concentrated company stock and NUA elections. This roundtable is designed to help you work through those questions.
How long does each session run?
Each morning runs 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Doors open at 9:45 AM. The two mornings total four hours of focused discussion.
What if I register but cannot make it?
You can cancel anytime by using the link in your confirmation email or by contacting us directly. We appreciate the heads-up so your seat can go to someone on the waitlist.
